We celebrated his birthday this past Sunday at the Little Gym with 10 little friends from playgroup, my work, and friends we have made in the last couple of years in Durham. We had grandparents galore there to make it a special day: Nana, Grandma, and Grandpa and Granny K. Thank you for coming to celebrate Elias! After some initial drama with the cake (baker never showed and when he did, cake was AWFUL and had layer of paper in it!!!), Daddy saved the day with football cupcakes. Promise to post pictures of the fun times soon, but am waiting on copies from all the photgraphers! The Little Gym staff was fantastic and took care of everything...including set up and clean up. I highly recommend them! They even brought out all the balls during the class TWICE because that is the birthday boy's favorite.
Today, we had breakfast at IHOP, complete with smiley face pancake, IHOP singers and ice cream sundae...all before 9am! Elias definitely reminded us how old he was at breakfast and made quite a lot of noise.

We went to playgroup, had lunch and nap, and then speech therapy where Elias told Stacy all about his day. He jabbered constantly during his session today...it was a birthday treat for me! After dinner, we headed to Northgate mall and rode the carousel AND train, TWICE! Great fun...

Oh I totally meant to write yesterday, but I'm a schmuck! Happy late birthday, Elias! He is looking like such a big boy!=) Let's catch up, Kristen!
